Wedding Song Thoughts...

Since last night's song was a tad bit depressing, I think tonight I'll have the song I might have as my "First Dances" at my wedding... First off is the one I think would be good for the father/daughter, "Never Gonna Be Alone" by Nickelback: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nt2kM0TsubU&ob=av2n... and my other, the one for me and my obviously insane new husband (after all, he did marry me), "All or Nothing" by Theory of a Deadman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wk5BBOha9PU. This is, of course, greatly subject to change when I meet the man who I'll someday be dancing that dance with and we discover our song. But right now, this song is the one I like the most. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a psycho who fantasizes about her wedding every moment with every guy she has a crush on. It's just that like most girls, I think about it sometimes and what my colors would be, what my dress might look like, that sort of thing; and when I heard this song, I thought it'd be a pretty good song to have playing during that first dance with my new husband. So there.

Home-Daughtry

I was walking around the other day, this song started playing, and for some strange reason, it hit me that this is the song I want to play at my funeral. It's a good song in any case, but I kind of like the metaphor for heaven being home, which is kind of how I think about it, and hopefully where I'll end up. Depressing, I know. Watch Over You-Alter Bridge

I love how soft this song is, and yet it's still kind of rocking with the drum beat. That, and it reminds me of a friend of mine who I haven't seen in forever. Alter Bridge rocks. Anyway, here's the song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lIdymq0DZc
